Generally, the park is open daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
This park is located about 5 km from Ipoh city center, (or 2 hours drive from KL), the main icon of this amusement is Lang Mountain (Gunung Lang), which was formed from a former tin mining pond. To access the main park area, visitors need to take a short, pleasant boat ride across this lake, offering scenic views of the surrounding hills.
What’s to Expect
You are not forced (red. forced) to take the boat ride, but trust me, you need to do this boat ride to reach the main amusement place! After crossing the lake, you will arrive on the other island where there’s a lot of amazing site, such as: another lake, a cave, a statues, a picnic place, and many more.
The park is famous for its dramatic limestone karsts, which provide a breathtaking natural backdrop. (It really hits differently when it rains). You can also watch a surrounding environment from Lookout Tower, There are observation towers that offer panoramic views of the entire park, including the lake, limestone hills, and surrounding forest.
It's advisable to bring your own food and drinks as food stalls might be limited in some areas of the park.
How To Get There
- By Bus: The cheapest way is to take the line 35 bus from Medan Kidd to Taman Wing Onn. The journey takes about 35 minutes and costs RM 1 - RM 3.
- By Taxi: A taxi is the fastest option, taking around 9 minutes and costing between RM 21 - RM 26.
- By Car: Driving is also a convenient option. The journey takes approximately 13-19 minutes, depending on the route. You can drive towards Jalan Kuala Kangsar and follow the signs to the park.
- Ride-sharing: You can also use ride-sharing apps like Grab to get directly to the park from anywhere in Ipoh.
